Use the printer media specification to check width, maximum outside diameter, core and winding. Measure a full replacement roll where possible; a partly used roll cannot establish the original diameter.
Specify length and packing separately from diameter. Include any chemical declaration or image-life requirement so supporting documentation can be requested for the proposed grade.

Choosing the Right Specification
Match paper width, outside roll diameter and core size to the receipt printer. Roll diameter is not roll length: paper thickness and the core affect how much paper fits on a roll. Store thermal paper away from heat and direct sunlight.
